Abstract
The objective of the present research was to determine the antihyperglicemic activity of oral administration of leaves and flowers hydroalcoholic extract of Otholobium pubescens (Poiret) Grimes, in the Alloxan-induced diabetes rat. it determined that the administration of 500 mg/kg p.c, during 33 days of treatment, significantly lowered the levels of glucose from 390 to 223 mg/dl.
